This year at the 2014 International UFO Congress Stephen Bassett was given the "Researcher of the Year Award" for his success with the "Citizen Hearing on Disclosure".

Stephen Bassett is s a leading advocate in the nation for ending the alleged government imposed truth embargo regarding an extraterrestrial presence on Earth engaging with the human race. According to Mr. Bassett this truth embargo has been in effect for over 60 years.

Since 1996 Bassett has assisted many organizations and initiatives making the case for an end to the government imposed truth embargo and has facilitated these open hearings to examine evidence and interpret the testimony of former military and government agency employees who have witnessed extraterrestrial-related events.

He is a political activist, commentator, columnist and the founder and executive director of the Paradigm Research Group and the Extraterrestrial Phenomena Political Action Committee.
