David Wilcock’s interest
in metaphysical topics goes back almost to the time of his birth. Ever since
age 2, Wilcock remembers having dreams of massive, metallic cylinders
floating in the sky, along with bizarre psychic synchronicities during the
day. At age 5, Wilcock had a spontaneous out-of-body experience that
greatly crystallized his quest for the truth behind the question of ESP, metaphysics and consciousness. At age 7, Wilcock read
his first full-length adult paperback book about ESP, entitled
How to Make ESP Work for You by Harold Sherman. He conducted
successful telepathic experiments with his friends, and demonstrated
repeated psychic accuracy while still in second grade, culminating in a
classroom demonstration of his abilities.
At age 16, Wilcock had the first of an ongoing series of lucid
dreams, consciously induced through a technique he learned in Dr. Stephen
La Berge’s book Lucid Dreaming. At age 19, Wilcock began a
detailed journal of all his dreams on a daily basis. Wilcock later
graduated from the State University of New York at New Paltz with a BA in
Psychology, completing his formal education at age 22. His "graduate
studies" with Higher Intelligence had already begun at age 20, by
fully reading and absorbing three to five metaphysical books every week.
Wilcock’s preliminary, direct contact with Higher Intelligence
was through automatic writing, and occurred at age 22, in November of 1995.
In November of 1996, at age 23, Wilcock began a daily interaction
with Higher Intelligence, giving these forces a voice through
his own ability to telepathically tune into them. In September of 1997,
Wilcock was told in a consciously induced OBE to move to
Virginia Beach, Virginia. A friend informed him of his facial similarity
with Edgar Cayce after he had been told to move. Then, in November of
1997, after considerable speculation from self and others, Wilcock
confronted his Source directly about the possibility of having been
Edgar Cayce in a past life. The answer was in the affirmative, and
this was by far the greatest surprise of Wilcock’s entire life. It
was extremely difficult for him to accept, but the readings insisted that he
talk about it with others and spread the word.
Since July of 1998, Wilcock has conducted nearly 100 personal
readings as a full-time professional intuitive counselor. "Convergence"
was completed on March 8, 1999, on Wilcock’s 26th birthday.
Wilcock now possesses over 3000 pages of his own personal dream and
psychic reading transcripts, generated since November of 1996, fully
transcribed, cataloged and indexed.
